How long have you created wedding films?

I have over 10 years of professional wedding filming experience.

Where are you based out of?

I am based in Utah, but I frequently travel throughout the entire Western States (UT, WY, ID, MT, CO, AZ, NM, NV, CA, OR, WA, AK, HI) for weddings. My pricing is set the same for all of these states. I will happily travel wherever your story takes you, though.

Do you give RAW footage?

I mail you a hard drive or flash drive with all the raw footage from your wedding day as part of any package you purchase.

How does payment work?

I require a 50% retainer to hold your spot in my calendar, and the remaining 50% is due 1 month in advance of your scheduled day. I’ve had some pay the full amount up front, and others make 3 separate payments to cover the amount. I am happy to work with your financial schedule so you are able to make your wedding film dreams come true.

What if there’s bad weather?

I always encourage you to embrace whatever weather comes our way, because of how beautiful the films turn out in those conditions. But if it’s so bad it would make for an awful time, I can most definitely reschedule with you.

Rescheduling and cancellations?

If you’ve already put a deposit down on a date, you can reschedule as long as the new date works for me. In the event you must cancel, your deposit will be forfeited and you will need to let me know via text or email that you are cancelling.

Do I get drone footage?

Yes! If we are in a place where I am able to fly it (both legally and safely), and if I feel it will add to the film, there’s a very good chance I will fly it. Ultimately it’s up to me, but I do love to use it when I can!

Some instances when we have been unable to fly the drone include: Rules and Regulations set by the FAA and/or specific locations, bad weather, and certain circumstances when there are privacy concerns.

Who will be filming?

I primarily shoot solo, but many couples choose to add a second shooter for extra coverage. Additional video assistance pricing can be found on my pricing page.

How long will my film be?

Depending on which film package you choose, films range from 5-12 minutes long.

Can I request specific shots for my film?

Of course! I love collaborating with you on things you want incorporated into your film. My style is extremely candid, authentic, and cinematic, however I’m always all ears for any suggestions or wishes you may have to elevate your film.

Can we choose our music?

Unfortunately, no. Due to licensing restrictions and laws, most popular music will be illegal to use. But I always love to hear what music you love so I can find the perfect song for your film.

How long will it take to get my wedding film back?

1 month or less.

Do you include audio?

Yes. I incorporate as much audio into our films as possible. It gives the film another layer and makes the story more complete.
